We passionately believe that the quality of the ingredients we use make a huge difference to our food. We try to source locally where possible, but whilst you will certainly not find the likes of Kenyan beans or New Zealand lamb anywhere in our menu, we would rather go for quality than being slavishly local. Herefordshire, where we live, has some great products, but it does not yet have the range of artisan producers of counties such as Dorset, Cumbria or Devon. If you are a high quality producer, particularly local to us, who could supply then we would love to hear from you as we are very keen to use more local ingredients when possible. Quite a lot of our ingredients are organic, but as we are not registered organic ourselves we are not permitted to label which are and which are not! We use organic ingredients, or not, based on taste and not doctrine. Our main suppliers currently are: Meat Fish Vegetables Dairy Cider Miscellaneous Ingredients
