We are a dinky little professional kitchen on the English-Welsh border making real food for you to eat at home. Think of us as your local bistro - we make primarily main meals, but also quiches, pastries, puddings ... anything you fancy really. Each month we make a new selection of meals, inspired in large part by the seasons. Once cooked, we use a super fast shock freezer so that all the goodness, freshness and taste is locked in. Our food is delivered, still frozen, via courier. We can also cook your own recipes to order. Our fabulous, ethically sourced, seasonal ingredients are on a par with Michelin starred restaurants and we use many of the same time consuming cooking methods too. But much of our food costs only around the same as good supermarkets. Even our most special dishes are still less than you might pay at a standard dining pub. We started in 2003 and have had enthusiastic reviews from several national papers and magazines, including a listing in Daily Telegraph food writer Rose Prince's book on ethical shopping, The Savvy Shopper. We are now back to offer you a real alternative to cooking at home, or going out. |
